IPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus can play 4K video

Apple did not mention the subject, but his new iPhone are able to read a 4K video without any particular problem. A8 processor, built-in iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, does the job and is doing well. According to tests, video with a throughput of 50 Mbps are read normally. With video at a rate of 100 Mbps, it goes too, with slight defects, however small slowdowns sometimes.

4K video

The iPhone 6 has a 4.7-inch screen with a resolution of 1334 x 750 pixels, while the iPhone 6 Plus has a 5.5-inch screen with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. Reading a 4K video is not very useful today as it will more pixels than the screens. However, they can be read and its interesting that Apple did not mention this.

iTunes does not allow the transfer of 4K video. It must go through the WALTR application. In addition to 4K video, can transfer FLAC, MKV, AVI and more applications in the Music and Video files to Apple.

4K videos are very, very heavy. A file in 10 seconds, the weight is 818 MB on a 16GB iPhone, it will be quickly filled. It will therefore be preferable to stay on 1080p video yet, even for the iPhone 6 64 and 128 GB.

Did you think that you’ve heard your share of news about Montauk monsters? Well think again cause a new corpse from a weird creature washed up on shore on Seal Beach and it looks extremely gruesome.
This unidentified creature was found dead on the beach and at a first glance, it looks like nothing you’ve ever seen before, and so do the other strange creatures sighted in 2012.

The animal had sharp, enormous teeth, but it was hairless, and had no eyes. The animal was found by Karen Summers who was out on the beach enjoying her daily walk. The woman was shocked to see this beastly animal and immediately called the authorities.

Sadly, the officials from the Public Works Department were not able to identify the mysterious animal and buried it, leaving us to wonder what this grotesque animal was. Have a look of the video below to see more footage of the mysterious corpse that washed up on Seal Beach:

What’s also weird is the fact that the corpse on Seal Beach looks strikingly similar to the strange Montauk Monster that washed up on the beach near Montauk, New York in July 2008. The creature found then was also hairless and bared quite a resemblance with the animal now in question. Back then, by the size of its fangs and dental imprints, scientists concluded that it might have been a raccoon, but the size of the corpse was considerably bigger.
Well in this case, the remains of the mysterious monster of Seal Beach are even bigger than those of the Montauk Monster. Have a look at the pictures below and compare:

Tech News 2012 Apple drops out of Top 5 in China Galaxy S III tops iPhone 4S in Q3 Mobile Phone Repair Auckland

The iPhone is the most common smartphone almost everywhere in the world... almost. According to analysts at Canalys, in the third quarter this year Apple dropped out of the Top 5 smartphone makers in the Chinese market.

And its an important market - according to Canalys again, China became a bigger market than the US earlier this year.

Samsung maintains a tentative lead in China holding 14% of the market, with local maker Lenovo breathing down its neck with 13%.

To rub salt in the wound, Samsungs Galaxy S III took the title of "Worlds best-selling smartphone in Q3 2012," according to Strategy Analytics. There were 18 million Galaxy S III units sold and "only" 16.2 million iPhone 4S phones. Of course, iPhone 4S sales were down in Q3 because everyone was waiting for the iPhone 5 to launch.

Anyway, back to China. The third place there is surprising - its held by Yulong, who are not known outside of China, but managed to score partnerships with the countrys to major carriers - China Telecom and China Mobile.

Two better known brands round up the Top 5 - ZTE and Huawei. The last three companies have around 10% market share each. Apple is currently sixth with 8% (it had 9% in Q2).

In Q3 this year, there were around 50 million smartphones shipped in China, which is over a third of all smartphones shipped in the whole world for the three month period.

The growth in China comes primarily from cheap models ($70-$120) and the iPhone 4S cant compete with its price of $713 (the iPhone 5 is yet to launch in China, probably in December).

2012 Google Android and Smartphone News Update HTC One XL selling in Australia now!

SIM-free and unlocked HTC One XL is now available in Australia. Currently, Oz residents can only purchase the black version for AU$850 (€660). It will work on every GSM carrier in Australia and on Telstra’s LTE network.

In case you are thinking of importing one over, youd be glad to find out that the HTC One XL supports the needed European GSM and 3G bands as well. Theres even support for some of the upcoming LTE networks in Europe working on the 2600MHz band.

HTC One XL is similar to the One X we already reviewed, save for the chipset. The One XL uses a Snapdragon S4 MSM8960 SoC with a 1.5GHz dual-core Krait CPU and Adreno 225 GPU. The NVIDIA’s quad-core Tegra 3 does not offer native LTE support, which caused the chipset swap.

This makes Australia the second country to get a Krait-powered One X after the US, whereAT&T offers it. We already covered its chipset performance and found that its often doing better than the Tegra 3 in the One X.

The iPhone 6 less scratch resistant than the iPhone 5s

Towards a new Applegate? A protest is open thread on Apples support forums, this time of the alleged problems of scratches, a number of users complaining that their iPhone 6 scratches more easily than the previous model, even when the device is placed in an "at risk" environment.

The thread already has over 600 responses and generated nearly 103,000 views, high enough numbers so that we can point the finger of a possible screen design concern or a fault affecting a number of units for production.

The screen of the iPhone 6 is not identical to that of the iPhone 5s, both in terms of the overall shape (curved at the edges, standing more frankly of the case), but also in materials used, Apple has opted for an Ion-X layer, supposedly more resistant to scratches precisely, but the new mode of production and the needs of mass production could generate a rate of "defects" higher than the usual.

Apple has also removed its last layer screens the thermoplastic / reinforced polymer present on the iPhone 5s (Ion-X would be enough to replace). The iPhone had been completely submerged, so I knew it was water-damaged. It worked at first, then turned off, and I could literally see the water inside it. I knew it was cashed. I was camping, so didn’t have anything with me to try the tried-and-true methods of preventing water damage. The next morning it was still wet inside and while it turned on and off, the touchpad didn’t work at all, and neither did the Home button. It was because of all this that I learned what to do when your iPhone gets water damage.

Apple-Care program Doesn’t Work

Apple does not cover water damage in either their one-year warranty or their Apple-Care program. They want to make sure they aren’t covering that either, so have placed sensors on the phone to detect water damage. There is one inside the headphone port, another in the charger connector on the bottom, and a few more hidden inside as well. The sensors will turn half pink/half white with water damage. Some people have been known to put tiny little pieces of white paper over the sensors to cover the ones on the outside, but there isn’t anything you can do to hide the two internal ones.

Solutions

The first thing you need to do is turn the iPhone off and disconnect it from any possible power sources. The next step is to place it in an airtight Ziploc bag with silica gel packets if not uncooked rice. You should immediately start searching for a proper or reuptable repair centre to inspect your water/liquid damage iPhone 4S. Remember, the longer you wait to get it repair, the worse it will get -- as fungus will grow, corrosion start damaging the internal part of your Apple iPhone 4S.
